History

Parlando Incorporated

Parlando School of Musical Arts was founded as “Parlando Incorporated” in 2002 and began programming in 2003.  The founding vision of Parlando was to increase accessibility to music for all people, particularly our community’s youth and elder populations. Operating on a relatively small scale for the first 4 years, Parlando provided tuition-assistance to under-privileged and at-risk children and music performance and education outreach to seniors citizens.

Parlando School of Musical Arts

In August of 2007, through a series of strategic mergers and collaborations,  Parlando School of Musical Arts was born. This new endeavor greatly expanded Parlando’s capacity to bring music into the lives of more members of our community.  It also provided valuable outreach to children, local schools and senior citizens.
