Grant Hollis

Grant Hollis is a music educator based out of Boulder, Colorado. Outside of his work with Parlando he is currently one of two beginning band teachers at Foothill Elementary School, working primarily with the brass class where he teaches trumpet and trombone. A native of St. Louis, Missouri, Hollis attended The University of Arkansas and received bachelor’s degrees in music education and saxophone performance, studying under Dr. Eric Troiano. An avid performer, Hollis has performed in masterclasses and clinics all over the country, most recently at the 2019 Biennial NASA (North American Saxophone Alliance) Conference, at Arizona State University. Upon the completion of his degrees, Hollis taught in the Northwest Arkansas area, and is now licensed in K-12 music education in both Arkansas and Colorado. While teaching in Boulder, he is continuing his education at The University of Colorado Boulder, pursuing a master's degree in music education. Hollis hopes to teach in the Boulder area following the completion of his degree.
