Jude Dow-Hygelund

Jude is currently an undergraduate studying Piano Performance at CU Boulder as a student of professor Andrew Cooperstock. Since the age of 5, Jude has been performing and competing in numerous piano festivals and competitions, including being a finalist at the Rosalyn Tureck International Bach Competition, a winner of solo and concerto competitions throughout the state of Oregon, and a performer in dozens of masterclasses throughout his childhood. Upon coming to CU Boulder, Jude was awarded the Sher-Distinguished Musician Scholarship, and in his freshman year, won first prize in the undergraduate Honors Competition. Jude also plays and performs Jazz and Blues piano, and recently performed at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis. Jude wants to share his passion for piano and music, and is very excited to work with students at Parlando.
