Robert Hjelmstad is a pianist whose interests span a wide variety of repertoire, from the ancient keyboard music of J.S. Bach, to new music off the beaten path. Hjelmstad has taught in numerous states in the U.S., and has also performed and given masterclasses in Brazil. He graduated from the University of Colorado-Boulder in 2019 with the Doctor of Musical Arts degree, where he studied with David Korevaar. As a teacher and scholar, Hjelmstad has presented at the Music Teacher’s National Association convention and the College Music Society’s national conference
