2.5-4.5 Doubles

A woman wearing a black outfit with cutouts is holding a tennis racket over her shoulder. She is wearing a neon green visor and has her hair in a ponytail. A man in a green shirt is walking beside her, holding a towel. It appears to be an outdoor tennis court with a net in the foreground and trees in the background.

Every great doubles team has a story.

Maybe it's your longtime playing partner. Maybe it's your neighbor you've been meaning to get on the court with. Maybe it's whoever was willing to say yes when you asked. However you ended up together, the Doubles Tournament is where you find out what you're made of as a team.

Two players, one court, and a weekend full of competition, cold drinks, and the kind of memories that are always better when someone else was there to share them.

Grab your partner. We'll see you out there.

Four people standing in front of a backdrop with 'Parlando School of Musical Arts' logo, holding awards wrapped in cloth. The woman second from the left is wearing a pink tank top and white shorts, holding a towel labeled 'Champion'. The woman next to her is wearing a cream sleeveless top and teal skirt, holding a towel labeled 'Finalist'. The two men on the far left and right are holding towels labeled 'Champion' and 'Finalist' respectively.

Open Division Doubles

In addition to providing great tennis for our viewing pleasure, Open Level players will be vying for CASH PRIZES this year, thanks to sponsorship from Conexus Insurance Partners.

Open Level divisions are the same format as the rest of the tournament: Men’s, Women’s, and Mixed. Champions will split $500 and runners-up will split $250. AND, if you are one of the first 8 people to sign up in one of the Open Level divisions, your tournament registration fee will be refunded back to you at the beginning of the tournament.

That’s right: Play your cards (and your rallies) just right, and you can play for free and then get a CASH PRIZE at the end!

One Point Slam

A woman playing tennis on a court, reaching up with a racket in hand to hit a bright yellow tennis ball, while wearing a white cap, light blue sleeveless top, and black sports shorts.

When they say that “every point counts,” this is exactly what they meant…

The One Point Slam is a new addition to the Parlando Open. Sponsored by Conexus Insurance Partners, this is not a competition for the easily distracted. Players will play one point against each other. The winner moves on, the loser goes back to the viewing gallery.

Sign up, and start the showdown at 6:00 pm on Saturday, June 27, and play one singles point. Win and you advance. Lose and you're out. You might face an open-level competitor, or you might face a first-time player. That's the luck of the draw! The more players who enter, the bigger the pot: 35% goes to the winner, 15% to the runner-up, and 50% goes directly to Julie's Program.

One point could change everything!
