School Outreach
Parlando’s school outreach program M.O.R.E. for Colorado (Music Outreach providing Resources and Education) provides necessary supplementary support to school music programs throughout Colorado with a focus on Title 1 and low-income schools, as well as schools serving majority BI&POC populations.

Julie’s Program
Named in honor of one of our founder’s sisters, and funded in large part by The Ida Fund of the Community Foundation Serving Boulder County and the Broomfield Community Foundation, “Julie’s Program” brings music and theatrical programming to people in our community who are living with developmental, disabilities, intellectual disabilities, and neurodiversities.
-
Intergenerational
In order to reach people of all ages and abilities, Parlando works with several smaller groups in our community including early childhood centers, retirement communities, and organizations including:
Boulder Day Nursery
Mother House
Parkinson Association of the Rockies. -
Tuition Assistance
We believe that all students should be able to pursue their passions and have access to the opportunities provided by music and the arts. Our co-founders, Travis and Christine LaBerge, were the beneficiaries of reduced-price music lessons and collegiate scholarships and started Parlando in 2002 understanding that children do not determine their financial situations.
