Enhance Programming and Expand Accessibility
True access means creating spaces where belonging is the starting point, every voice is welcomed, and excellence reflects both rigor and representation.
Accessibility is one of Parlando’s founding and most enduring commitments. We are dedicated to widening the circle of who participates in, benefits from, and shapes the arts, including people of all races and ethnicities, economic backgrounds, generations, individuals with disabilities and neurodiversities, and members of the LGBTQ+ community.
The Parlando Recording Studio
Now open, the Parlando Recording Studio is helping students and faculty grow as well-rounded, 21st-century musicians while offering faculty enhanced compensation opportunities.
Designed for students, faculty, and community members, the studio empowers people to create educational, audition, and keepsake recordings while deepening their connection to Parlando.

Move Forward on the Parlando Piano Technician School
At its core, the technician school is also a form of advocacy: expanding access to stable, creative work that supports self-sufficiency and affirms the dignity of trade-based careers in the arts.
Parlando is uniquely positioned to meet the growing demand for skilled piano technicians by launching a Piano Technician School that draws on our existing facilities, instruments, and networks. This initiative will create hands-on, trade-based learning opportunities that open new pathways into music for students and faculty alike, while generating a new source of sustainable revenue for Parlando.
Resourcing for Growth
Resourcing for Growth will position Parlando to evolve with intention, lead with clarity, and serve our community with renewed energy and stability.
As Parlando enters its next 25 years, our ability to deepen our impact depends on growing not just in size, but in strength. We must invest in the people, leadership, and infrastructure that will sustain our mission and expand our reach to ensure we are equipped to meet both current needs and future possibilities.
