Brass Bootcamp

Poster for Parlando School of Musical Arts featuring 2nd Annual Brass Boot Camp at Jefferson High School, June 17th to 21st from 8 am to 12 pm, with info on beginner and intermediate groups, daily warm-up, chamber music, masterclasses, private lessons, brass maintenance, music theory, and live performance. Join members of Parlando's Brass Faculty for a week-long camp highlighting all-things-brass. This is a great way to bang off summer rust and get ready for the school year.

Primary Goals:
1. Exposure to brass instrument music from a variety of communities and cultures;
2. Provide the best possible inclusion for all students regardless of ability level and background;
3. Create a fun and stimulating environment for student musicians; and
4. Build confidence as an instrumentalist by providing the best possible education, performance examples, methods and collaborative environments.

Secondary Goals:
1. Attend camp and leave the experience with a wealth of new knowledge.
2. Motivation to continue playing brass instruments and seeking more knowledge.

NOTE: This camp will be held at Jefferson High School (2305 Pierce St, Edgewater, CO 80214).
