Dr. Jackson Feaster is a pianist from New Mexico. Dr. Feaster holds degrees from Baylor University in piano performance and pedagogy, and is a recipient of awards for outstanding performance and academic achievement from the Baylor University School of Music. He completed his Doctor of Musical Arts degree in piano performance at the University of Colorado, Boulder in 2025, studying with Dr. David Korevaar.
Dr. Feaster has had the privilege of studying with inspirational artists such as Margo Garrett (the Juilliard School), Donna Lee (Kent State), Elisabeth Pridonoff (Cincinnati College-Conservatory) and Dr. Brian Marks (Baylor University).
In addition to serving on the faculty at Parlando, Dr. Feaster operates a private teaching studio and has been privileged to serve as the interim music and creative arts director for Grace Commons Church in Boulder and works part-time for a non-profit organization. Dr. Feaster is currently producing a classical music “field trip” in Paris, France, and is partnering with local artists to engage in the film scoring industry.
