A nativeof South Korea, Juhyun Hwang is a pianist, collaborator, educator, and entrepreneur. In May 2026, she completed her Master's in Piano Performance at the University of Colorado Boulder, where she studied with Dr. Andrew Cooperstock and Dr. David Korevaar. After finishing her music education at Seoul Arts High School in Korea, she moved to the U.S. to continue her musical studies. As the recipient of the prestigious Presser Award, she graduated summa cum laude from Missouri State University under the guidance of Dr. Wei-Han Su, earning a Bachelor’s in Piano Performance alongside minors in General Business and International Business Studies.
Hwang has appeared as a soloist and chamber musician on international stages across the U.S., Europe, and Asia. Her recent engagements include a concert tour spanning Malaysia and Indonesia, and a performance at the Steinway Gallery in Paris. She has also won top prizes at numerous competitions such as the Charleston International Music Competition and the Carl Reinecke International Competition. Beyond her work as a performer, Hwang is deeply committed to music education and strives to create meaningful musical experiences and lasting connections across generations and cultures.
