Luke Lozano
Luke Lozano is currently pursuing his Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance at the University of Colorado Boulder, studying with Dr. David Korevaar. He has been studying piano since the age of 6. In high school, Luke achieved 4 consecutive years of Superior Rankings in the Regional Level of the UIL Solo and Ensemble Competition advancing him to the State UIL Solo and Ensemble Competition where he also received 4 consecutive years of Superior Rankings. Luke was also chosen as one of seven pianists across the state of Texas to play in the Texas All-State Orchestras in 2020 and 2021, the first pianist from Austin ISD to do so since 1976.
In 2018 Luke was invited to perform at SXSW, which allowed him to showcase his talents for people from all over the world. Since 2019, Luke has also enjoyed the privilege of performing at the Mozart’s Coffee Roasters Christmas Lights Show, where he gets to share classical music with thousands of people every night. After completing his undergraduate degree, Luke plans to go on to graduate and doctorate schools, with the goal of one day teaching music theory in a collegiate setting.
