Boulder Piano Gallery
From helping us when we only owned two of our nearly 30 pianos, to hosting our many student recitals during the academic year, Paul Jarvis and Boulder Piano Gallery are among Parlando’s most steadfast supporters. Paul and his staff work with our students and their families to find pianos that meet their developmental, spatial, and financial needs. We cannot say enough good things about Paul Jarvis and Boulder Piano Gallery!
Don’t be surprised to see Parlando students and faculty members at Boulder Piano Gallery rehearsing, performing, or looking for their next piano! -
Aaron Wines
Travis and Aaron met in Paso Robles, California and have shared parallel journeys growing their respective organizations with a focus on quality, customer satisfaction, and a commitment to their communities. Just as Parlando’s outreach programs reflect our commitment to the needs of our community, Aaron’s wines demonstrate his commitment to the land, sea, and terroir in which he grew up and still calls home. If you visit Aaron or order online, be sure to check out “Trespasser” as well as Travis’s personal favorite: Aaron’s Petite Sirah.

Kevin Snyder Photography
For the last few years Kevin Snyder has been brilliantly capturing Parlando students’ thrill of being in the theatre. With a keen eye for the subtleties of the stage, Kevin provides families with photo memories of our students doing what they love. KSP, like Parlando, is a family business and Kevin values family-fun just as much as Parlando. Be sure to keep an eye out at Parlando events for Kevin and his camera in the near future!

What is there not to say about Lisa?!? Lisa is not only extremely kind, but incredibly gifted! As a Parlando adult student, the mother of one of our faculty members and mother-in-law of another faculty member, Lisa is one of our biggest and favorite Parlando cheerleaders. Lisa makes gorgeous artwork, whether to hang on your wall, or cards to send out to friends. You can also find Lisa at Boulder Piano Gallery helping families find pianos that are just right for their unique needs and wants. Visit Track and Trail Arts to find your next piece of artwork!

DISH Gourmet
Is there anything more delish than DISH?! We love DISH Gourmet for their fabulously fresh foods. After working together for over 10 years, DISH has become one of our favorites for meetings and gatherings. DISH is also a sponsor of our annual "Parlando on Pearl" event and works to give back to the community. If you are overwhelmed by all the good options on their menu, give Travis’ favorite sandwich, the Chatham (served hot!) or Elle’s favorite salad, The Bloody Good Salad, a try!

Michi Sakurai, 8z Real Estate
Michi Sakurai is both a long-time Parlando parent and a trusted real-estate agent in Boulder County and beyond! When Michi’s son needed more from his piano lessons, she found Parlando. Raised by a piano-teacher-mom, music education has always been a priority for Michi, so she supports Parlando’s vision of music for all by donating a portion of her proceeds to Parlando’s outreach programs.
As a realtor, Michi works with buyers and sellers alike, educating clients on how to make smart financial decisions. She takes the time to understand each client's unique needs and works tirelessly to find or sell the perfect home!

Barton Cane
How cool is it that one of the best oboe and bassoon cane makers is right here in Colorado?! After studying music at CU Boulder, David and Julie Threatte founded Barton Cane, to create incredible quality cane for double-reed instruments. An essential aspect to crafting reeds is that they are made from good quality cane, and that the cane is consistently prepared for the reed making process. The quality of the cane directly impacts the quality of the reed, and the quality of the reed directly impacts the quality of the sound. That’s why we are thankful to Barton Cane’s for partnering with us to provide quality cane for our summer Oboe Camps on which students can experiment and learn.
