Erik Correll

Erik is a graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder where he earned his M.M. in piano performance studying under Dr. David Korevaar. Starting piano at the age of 11, Erik later enrolled in the Lehigh Valley Charter School for the Performing Arts where he was awarded for “Outstanding Excellence in Music” upon graduation. He received his B.M. in piano performance studying under Dr. Jennifer Hayghe at Ithaca College where he graduated with honors. Erik currently lives in Boulder where he is an active teacher, arranger and performer. One of his current projects includes arranging and performing with people around the world on his YouTube Channel. As an active member of MTNA, teaching is another one of his passions. Erik tailors each lesson to students’ individual needs incorporating theory, composition, arranging and improvisation into lessons when needed. Through his students he strives to instill musicality through proper technique and believes music can enrich everyone’s lives.
