Julia Warnock is pursuing a BM in piano performance at the University of Colorado Boulder, studying with Andrew Cooperstock. Before attending college, she worked as a teaching assistant for many years at her mother’s piano studio in Fort Collins, CO.

Driven by the belief that everyone, regardless of age and background, can find joy in music, Julia tailors her teaching methods to meet the individual needs of each student. She includes technique, music reading, improvisation, music theory, playing by ear, and composition in lessons to give every student a fun and well-rounded musical experience.

A motivated performer, Julia routinely programs works by women and other marginalized composers to help spread awareness of these overlooked voices and to welcome people of diverse identities into the world of classical music. When she is not practicing or teaching, Julia can be found hiking, playing her violin, or spending time with her cats.
