


Victoria Paulino
Victoria Paulino is a Brazilian pianist born in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, in 2001. A dedicated performer since the age of seven, she has been actively involved in competitions and concerts across Brazil, Europe, and the United States. In 2009, she performed in the opening concert at the Legislative Assembly Theater of Minas Gerais. That same year, she won the “Young Musician” BDMG Cultural Competition and received an award in the IV National Young Highlight Competition. In 2012, she won the prestigious Lang Lang & Telefônica Competition, becoming the only Brazilian selected to perform with the renowned pianist at the O2 Arena in Berlin, Germany.
Since then, Victoria has participated in numerous music festivals, including Oregon Piano, Ian Hobson Festival, Saramenha Artes e Oficios, and Pianofest in the Hamptons. In 2017, she was awarded first prize at the Yamaha National Piano Competition. In 2021, she won first place in the Young Artist Category (“Hans Lewitus”) at the Parnassus Music International Competition – Latin American edition, which featured pianists up to 25 years old from across Latin America. She was also awarded the prize for Best Interpretation of a Work by J.S. Bach, granted by esteemed pianist Roger Woodward.
Her recent accolades include the 2022 Seidler Award for research, and two top prizes at the 2024 Alabama Music Teachers Association (AMTA) competitions: winner of the Concerto Competition and the Solo Graduate Division.
Victoria holds a Bachelor of Arts in Piano Performance from Florida Gulf Coast University and a Master’s degree in Piano Performance from the University of Alabama, where she studied with Dr. Kevin Chance. She is currently pursuing her Doctor of Musical Arts degree at the University of Colorado Boulder with Dr. Jennifer Hayghe
